Sample Rule 6 Letter to the Secretary of StateThese are actual documents used in a public inquiry Catherine Harris
Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions
11th October 2001 Dear Sir. RE: PUBLIC INQUIRY TELECOMMUNICATION MAST YARDS LANE BRIXHAM - REF: APP/X1165/A/01/1071531 It is my intention to appear at the above public inquiry and to make representation on behalf of local residents (BATE - Brixham Against 'TETRA' Emissions), and to present evidence on their behalf, including that of experts in the field of irradiation and planning procedure. Therefore in accordance with Rule 6.6 of the Town & Country Planning Appeals (Determination by Inspectors) (Inquiries Procedure) (England) Rules 2000 I invite the Secretary of State to accord me the status set out in those Rules in order that I may best present our case to the inquiry. I look forward to your reply. Yours sincerely
Catherine Harris
