PLANNING SANITY DONATION FORUM
There are four ways in which you can make a donation to Planning Sanity:
As well as choosing the best method for you to make a donation, you can also choose to make a single donation or regular weekly/monthly/annual donations. Whilst cash is always limited in local community campaigns, especially if you are just starting out, and it is very important that you ensure that sufficient funds are available locally to do everything you need, from printing costs, to the hiring of halls for public meetings, legal help and much more. The last thing that Planning Sanity wants is to detract that funding from important local work, we hope though that the work we are doing at a national level, as well as the reports and expert advise that we compile on behalf of everyone, will save you both time and funds, we therefore believe that is also important that where ever possible local communities who use our services help by contributing to our vital work, thereby enabling us to provide even more tools and expertise for the use of local communities.

We have opened an account with 'Paypal' to process credit card transactions, this has enabled us to make it as easy and as painless as possible for you to make donations, and to subscribe. Paypal is part of the E-Bay group which is one of the UKs largest WEB based auction facilities, all security of payments is managed by them, Planning Sanity does not even see credit card details. We do though receive prompt payment enabling us to take advantage of your generousity, often faster than we could when donations are made by cheque.
Simply click on the link below which takes you to the Paypal accounts department, if you already have a Paypal account then you simply enter your account details. If you do not have an account then there is a very simple form that enables you to make the payment and become a member of Paypal enabling you to shop on any other site that uses Paypal for handling credit card payments.
We can now offer the ability to make payments by Credit Card via NOCHEX up to £100.00 in any one transaction (up to £300 for NOCHEX members). Like Paypal this can be used for subscriptions and donations, but you do not have to be a member to make the payments (unless it is more than £100). Simply click on the link below and complete the simple form, Planning Sanity does not receive any information relating to your credit card this is handled by secure servers by NOCHEX.
You can also become a member of Planning Sanity by completing a simple form on our Membership Forum, and then either paying your subscription using the Paypal or NOCHEC credit card service, or by printing the form and posting along with your cheque.

Regular weekly/monthly/annual donations can be made by completing our simple standing order form and taking it along to your bank.
Regular payments by standing order allows Planning Sanity to plan for the future. Many of our areas of work cannot be started unless funding can be secured, we need to know far in advance what our financial position will be, we can best achieve this through regular payments.
Every penny counts, the £1 per week from a pensioner, is just as important as the £1000 from the executive. Although all our work is achieved within a very limited budget, no one receives wages or payments for services (although we sometimes have to pay for professional advise). Although it is nice to be able to pay volunteers expenses (after all they give up their spare time for free), it is even nicer when we can pay the phone bill, send out a media release highlighting an important issue (average media release costs £45 in phone charges). As a very minimum Planning Sanity must find £10,000 every year just to stay solvent, without that funding we would soon be closing our doors, so please support us in providing this useful service.
